The author of more than 120 scientific works, among them 2 monographs, 32 Reports in manuscripts.
A.V. Kendzera is a manager of the General Division of Geophysics Chair at Kiev National University named after T.G. Shevchenko and the Institute of Geophysics named after S.I. Subbotin NAS Ukraine. Performs a course "Theory of seismic wave fields" at the University, supervises the work of two Postrraduates.
The main line of scientific activity – elaboration of methods of forecast of seismic hazards on populated territories and especially important objects within the limits of general and detailed seismic zonation as well as seismic microzonation.
Methods and technologies of introduction of seismic impact while designing and studying seismic stability of NPPs, elaborated under the leadership of A.V. Kendzera, were applied while studying the conditions for location of Yuzhno-Ukrainskaya, Chernobylskaya, Khmelnitskaya, Rovenskaya NPPs, Kievskaya and Dniestrovskaya Hydro Electric Stations, training atomic reactors in Kiev and Minsk, while designing Odesskaya and Chygyrynskaya Thermal Electric Stations and designing NPPs in Northern Korea.
A.V. Kendzera conducts an important work consulting central and local administrations as well as giving information to inhabitants as to real seismic hazards in the country or its local parts and as to methods of protecting population and industrial constructions from catastrophic earthquakes.
