Velocity parameters in electromagnetic georadar and tomographic systems

The paper is devoted to the geoelectrical aspect of the problem of the propagation of electromagnetic excitations in media with dispersion. The attention is focused on the analysis of velocity parameters propagating impulses, especially in a kinematic wave and diffusive approximation. For the media with dispersion their interpretation becomes more complicated and needs additional definitions. We study the problem of selective definition of the characteristics of the vertical and horizontal propagation of impulsive excitations from the data of experimental observations at the Earth’s surface within the scope of remote and quasi-wave kinematics.
