Mathematical modeling of the elastic wave velocity anisotropy in a crackedgeo logic medium

A new method of mathematical modeling of effective elastic constant of a geological medium with arbitrary, one, two and three oriented crack systems without restricting treir concentration and form is proposed. Numerical calculations of the parameters to the anisotropy of elastic body waves of a "cracked chalkstone" model have sown essential difference of transversely isotrpîic and azimuthal anisotropy of elastic waves of different types of polarization in cracked chalkstones with different crack systems. The discovered regularities may be used in defining cracking systems by seismic methods.
