The 40th anniversary of the Institute of Geophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine

A general review of the main scientific achievements of the Institute of Geophysics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kiev) for the whole 40 years period of its existence (since 23 December, I960) is presented.
