Coupled events and a method of their separation

The article is devoted to development of a new method of allocation after - and foreshock sequences from a complete or initial catalogue of earthquakes. The concepts of fore- and aftershocks are generalized in a new concept of the linked events. The linked events are understood as the earthquakes getting in spatial-temporary sphere of certain radius. The distance between earthquakes in space-time is measured with the help of the Davis-Froehlich metrics [10, 11]. The developed algorithm of the allocation of the linked events is applied to the catalogue of earthquakes of the central part of the Crimean seismoregion. As a result of decomposition of the initial catalogue on the basic and the connected events six subcatalogues are received.
