Optimal seismic signal

A method for computing an optimum seismic wavelet is suggested. The generation of such wavelet in combination with the following Wiener deconvolution provide a maximum resolution of the record under a natural restriction on the source energy. The method requires a priori information on the spectral properties of the additive noise and the geological medium under study. Results of testing the method with model data are demonstrated. <<back |
