Modeling duplex waves reflected from subvertical boundaries by the finite - difference method

Results of testing a pack of programs of modeling wave field Tesseral-2D for localizing subvertical contacts, in particular salt stock walls are presented. It is shown that complex (duplex) reflections forming on similar zones are dynamically expressed and are well observed in the seismic wave field. Such waves are a basis for constructing seismic images of subvertical reflectors formed by special migration procedure.
