Monitoring of the areas of partial flooding of c.Kiev by active sounding in the UHF-range

A physical model of signal forming at remote sensing of soil moisture and the depth of superficial underground water using active microwave methods (wave length 0,68 m) has been described. Also a brief description of an active microwave device, device action principle, methodology of microwave remote sensing is given. The results of experimental investigation within the region of flooding territories on the Dnieper left- bank of the Kiev City have been shown and analyzed.
