Modeling the anisotropy and AVO based on a vector wave equation

On an example of a thin - layer medium with periodic alternation of elastic properties the possibility of modeling the quasi - anisotropy of longitudinal and transverse (SV) waves on the basis of a 2D vector wave equation realized by the finite-difference method in the packet Tesseral-2 is shown. Also discussed are methodical means of the formation (based on model data) of AVO - dependence obtained on the contact of a gas-saturated and a water-saturated sandstone's without distortions due to passing of waves and the spatial orientation of the sources and the receivers of fluctuations.
