Electrical model for Mekhedovsko-Golotovschinskoye oil and gas bearing deposit

Laboratory, methodical and in situ (mineralogic, electrical exploration, geochemical) investigations have been conducted at the Mekhedovsko-Golotovschinskoye oil and gas deposit situated within the limits of Srebnyanskya depression of Dnieper-Donets Basin. It is shown that in the deposits overlying oil and gas collectors and in particular over the zones of gas-water-oil contact hypergene mineralogic changes occurred which resulted in the appearance of abnormally high chargeability of the changed rocks of the sedimentary cover and typical geochemical anomalies over the oil and gas deposits. <<back |
