Solitary tectonic waves of rotational deformation as a result of planet's rotation

© A.V. Vikulin

A wave seismic model backed up by the idea about the rotary nature of the elastic strain is presented. Within the model framework the effects concerning the spectrum of the velocities of the earthquake migration, Chandler wobble and the processes in the earthquake sources are considered. It is shown that the strong earthquake is the result of the interaction of the solitary revolving wave with a corresponding seismofocal block. The conclusion according to which the tectonic torsional waves on the rotating planet are the energizations of elastic field is motivated. Such a field is the result of the solitary interaction of the geophysical blocks of the geophysical medium.
