Paleomagnetism of mio-pliocenic formations of Ukraine and some provinces of Eastern Paratethys and their regional magnetostratigraphic scheme

According to the results of long-term magnetostratigraphic studies of the Upper-Neogenic rocks of Ukraine and some regions of the Eastern Paratethys, a regional magnetostratigraphic schema of sedimentary masses of the time interval from 10 my ago to the present has been set up. The authors concept of the solution of the problem of Pontian and the necessity of correcting the time limits of the stratigraphic scale of the geological evolution period considered are presented. <<back |
