The largest gas fountain of the Black Sea Basin

The biggest gas jet of the Black Sea depression which has been established in the 57 trip SIV "Professor Vodjanitzky" on the deep-water bed in the underwater mud volcano Dvurechensky area has been described in this article. Height of gas jets reaches 850 m, diameter 400 m. Gas thrown is accompanied by the mud volcano, gashydrates and carbonate formation. <<back |
