Analysis of thermomechanic models of the Black Sea sedimentary evolution

Results of modeling Black Sea sedimentary Basin evolution both from viewpoint of the asthenolitic conception of the destruction of the lithosphere and from viewpoint of its horizontal extension are presented. It is shown that the present sedimentary mass section conforms to the model of the final continental lithosphere extension from the end of Cretaceous to Oligocene during 40 my. The thermal lithosphere evolution beginning from the bend origination and which conforms to the postrift sedimentary basin formation and to the present heat flow distribution is considered. <<back |
