New technologies in hydromagnetic studies in sea aquatoria: measurement methods, processing algorithms, practical results

The elements of technology of hydromagnetic observations in the sea and ocean areas that includes the measuring-computing equipment, a block of conducting the magnetic information database, programs of processing, visualization and analysis of the measurement data and automated selecting of the anomalies sources are considered. A separate version of realization of some elements of technology within the framework of geoinformation system (GIS) is described. It is shown that the digital registration, computer processing and interpretation of the magnetic measurement data notably raise the efficiency of hydromagnetic investigations. The results of the technology using when undertaking integrated scientific studies on research vessels in different regions of World Ocean (the region of Antarctic Peninsula, Atlantic Ocean, Black Sea) are given. <<back |
