Fractal properties of a spatial-temporal aggregate of Crimean seismic region earthquakes

The article is devoted to the research of fractal properties of spatial-temporary sets of earthquakes. It is shown, that it is necessary to specify the concept of self-similarity in case of space-time. The offered method of research of fractal properties is applied to the catalogues of different levels of hierarchy in Crimean seismoregion. It is shown, that the changes of fractal dimension D2 correlate in due course occurrence of strong earthquakes for considered seismoregion. <<back |
