Parameters of seismic field equation for intensity of strong Vrancea earthquakes zone for Ukrainian territory

Based on the macroseismic data of four strong Vrancea earthquakes, the values of the parameters of the seismic shaking field equation in the azimuth range of 0-100° have been evaluated for the first time. These values enable the assessment of the background intensity of shaking excited by the strong Vrancea earthquakes in any location of Ukraine. For the practical application the coefficients are tabulated both in discrete form and in linear approximation by polynomial regression fit. <<back |
