Monitoring of the Earth's magnetic field on the sea bottom

© Prystay A.M.

Permanently growing interest to the sea bottom experimental study of electromagnetic fields is observed in the world. This interest is stimulated by the increasing amount of the mineral deposits exploration in the offshore zones as well as of the monitoring necessity of natural hazards. The recent success in the development of the reliable autonomous sea bed electromagnetic instrumentation also increase this interest although the price of such instrument is rather high.
The goal of this work is the demonstration of the possibility to create the sea bed autonomous magnetometer of reasonably low price. Also methodological aspects of experimental works with such instrument and its main parameters are reported.
