The composition of magmatic rocks as a reflection of deep-seated process (by the example of the Hercynian geosyncline of the Donbas and the rift of the Dnieper-Donets depression)

© Usenko O.V.

Activization processes within the upper mantle and the crust has been considered by the example of the Donbas Hercynian syncline and the rift of the Dnipro-Donets depression. Studies of mineral and chemical composition of magmatic rock complexes produced during all the stages of these strucrures development are the base for conclusions. The comparison of the data on the rock generation and differentiation parameters available for analogous formations of the other regions as well as those given in literature sources allow to determine the depth of melting the mantle substratum as well as a position of the roof of the asthenospheric layer during each stage of development.
