A new method of thermoelastic properties determination for rockforming minerals

New method of thermoelastic constants determination for rockforming minerals both from rocks and their pressure and temperature derivatives is being considered in the paper. It comprises inversion of pressure and temperature dependence of velocities for longitudinal and transverse waves. The results obtained are being compared with the data of elastic constants measurements for mineral single crystals. <<back |
