The main directions of UkrSRMI activities in the field of improving the safety and efficiency of coal production by geophysical prediction of rock mass structure and state are being considered. The aims, the problems being solved, the principal procedures and hardware for geophysical methods being applied are given. Specific examples are shown for application of geophysical methods to solve the problems of coal industry, construction on the areas being undermined as well as in the field of prediction and mapping the hazardous geologic and technogenic phenomena not connected with mining. <<back |
