A new paradigm in a theory of linear incorrect problems adequate to requests of geophysical practice. V. New extreme principles and transformations of Systems of Linear Algebraic equations (SLAE)

© V.N. Strakhov

Generalizations of two main productive ideas of computational linear algebra have been given:

  • the ideas of application, in case of re-determined systems of linear algebraic equations, the smallest squares principle;
  • the ideas of application, in case of the systems of linear algebraic equations with rectangular matrices, the so-called Gauss transformations - the first one in the cases of re-determined SLAE, the second one in the cases of SLAE which is incompletely determined. Final conclusions have been given according to materials of the first five parts of the work.
