A Direct and inverse problems of gravimetry in the class of horizontal cylindrical bodies

© Bulakh E.G., Mikheyeva T.L.

Solutions have been given for direct and inverse problems of gravimetry where the gravity producing objects are represented by a totality of horizontal cylindrical bodies. Excessive mass densities are the functions of points coordinates. The boundary outline of each body is introduced in a polar reference system by a single-valued function of an angular coordinate. The inverse problem is reduced to minimization of the specially composed functionals. The solving of the problem is illustrated by examples.
