Gravity simulation of the Earth's crust of the Donbas

Three-dimensional density model of the Donbas Earth's crust based on the results of re-interpretation of seismic observations and the gravity field along DSS profiles X and XI has been plotted by the method of iterational simulation. Geological explanation of the model obtained has been given which characterizes both identity and distinction of the Donbas structure with the other elements of the Dnieper-Donets aulacogene. Comparison with velocity model along the profile DOBRE'99 of the predicted density model gives additional information as to deep-seated structure of the region. Expediency of application the integrated (invariant) models to increase reliability of interpretation is argued.
