Determination of statistical numbers Love and Shida by the method of finite elements

Based upon variation finite element method Love and Shida numbers of the second order are determined for self-gravitating, elastic and statically balanced Earth, without taking into consideration oceanic and atmospheric loading. Liquid outer core and rigid inner core are taken into account in this case. PMC-model by Dzivonsky is used as a standard model of the Earth. <<back |
