Estimation of heterogeneity parameters of a layered medium according to the results of non-linear wave field analysis

The relationship between a layer thickness and parameters of soliton is derived using the asymptotic averaged solution of the problem of soliton propagation in a layered nonlinear medium. Reasoning from the results of the computer modeling of a nonlinear wave propagation in the medium, which is formed by elastic layers as well as plastic inter-layers, the parameters of the wave are defined. These parameters can be used for the definition of the plastic component content. <<back |
