Climatic fluctuations and dynamics of carbon dioxide content in the Earth's atmosphere

© Boychenko S.G., Voloshchuk V.M.

The main features of long-term fluctuations of climatic conditions on the Earth and of the atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide for Phanerozoic Eon (last 570·106 years), Late Pleistocene (last 420·103 years), last millennium and present period are established. Possible physical - mechanisms which are responsible for natural fluctuations of climate and atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide for the considered time intervals are discussed. Scenarios of possible dynamics of the atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and global temperature of air for the 21-st century are constructed.
