Diagnostics of gaseous hydrates within near-bottom layer of the Black sea sediments, in accordance with the results of measurements of their thermal-conductivity in situ

Theoretical and experimental justifications of the possibility to use thermal probe GEOS-2 for estimation of gaseous hydration of the bottom sediments of the Black Sea are given in the paper. Exploration criteria are the change of thermal-physical properties and heat flow du-ring decomposition of gaseous hydrate as a result of heating the sediments while their thermal conductivity is being measured with the help of the method of linear source of heat with constant power.
