Seismotectonics and ability of seismic hazard forecast within the Belarus-Baltic region

It has been shown for the first time that the methodical approach, proposed for selection of zones of the probable centers of earthquakes (PCE) in conditions of ancient platforms and used during common seismic districting of Byelorussia and Baltic countries, has received the practical confirmation by the fact that in a selected before potential Kaliningrad zone of the PCE three earthquakes took place on September 21, 2004. <<back |
