On one approximation approach while solving an inverse problem of gravimetry in a class of two-dimensional contacting surfaces

The inverse problem of gravimetry in a class of two-dimensional contact surfaces is solved. The initial field is transformed into the field of variation of gravity anomaly relative to fixed point. The problem is solved by trial and error method and is reduced to minimization of discrepancies array between the initial field and theoretical one. It is shown that the two-layer model is restored, if position of one asymptote is specified. If the geological model has two or more dividing boundaries, it is necessary to know the position of the control points for solving the inverse problem.
