Magnetic storms on 15-16 July 2000 and 15 May 1997

The discrepancies in the course of two magnetic storms on 80 observatories in different places of the Earth are shown. The data about substorms that appeared during magnetic storms and reasons of their originating at the expense of variations of interplanetary magnetic field B and its components By, Bz are given.
