On formation of diffusion-adsorption potential of sp within the drained zone of the well

Phenomenological model of arising the diffusion-adsorbtion e.m.f. in permeable stratum being filled by the borehole mud filtrate is proposed. On condition when filtrate is NaCl-solution the system of equations for the solute concentration is obtained and solved, and expression for diffusion-adsorbtion potential is calculated. In the case of porous stratum with high specific surface of pores estimated value of this potential achieves a few Mv, i. e. processes of adsorbtion may significantly influence the forming potential of spontaneous polarization.
