On the problem of magnetosphere energetic state at the different levels of solar and magnetic activity

© Sumaruk T.P., Sumaruk Yu.P.

Dynamics of the injection of energy into the magnetosphere (E) out of solar wind, during four solar activity cycles from 1953 to 2002 is considered.
The total daily, monthly and annual values of E were calculated. Values of the solar wind energy, which penetrates into the magnetosphere we evaluated by means of the geomagnetic field variations. It has been shown that quantity of the energy increase (decrease) with solar and geomagnetic activities increasing (decreasing). In the nineteenth, twentieth and twenty first cycles the values of injected energy to the magnetosphere continues to icrease still several years after solar activity maximum was achived. The phases of solar activity change and the amount of the energy coincide in the twenty second and of nowadays cycles. The amplitude of seasonal changes of energy incoming to the magnetosphere and dispersion of mean annual values E increase with growth of solar and magnetic activities.
