New maps of seismic divisibility of the territory of Ukraine. Special features of the model of seismic hazard

New estimation of a long-term seismic hazard of Ukraine is executed using the probability - determined performances. Both random and regular factors of spatial-temporal and power organization of seismic activity and geodynamical processes in the region were considered.
Forecasting model of a long-term seismic hazard of the territory is presented in the form of three-level maps of general seismic zoning to a scale 1:2 500 000, representing intensity I of seismic impacts (in values of MSK-64 scale) and the peak accelerations, expected in the given area with specified probability P (%) during a certain time interval t for periods of recurrence 500, 1000 and 5000 years. The effect on computed intensity of parameters of the source and seismic activity has been studied. <<back |
