New results on magnetostratigraphy of trap formation produced in the southwestern margin of the East-European platform on the boundary between Neoproterozoic and Phanerozoic presumably during the destruction of Lateproterozoic supercontinent Rodinia have been presented. Unique combination within the territory of the northwestern part of the Volynian area of quarries, exposing five basaltic lava flows of the ratnenskaya suite and of many hundreds of wells, exposing the rocks of trap formation allowed us to study the character of the ancient geomagnetic field of the time of trappes formation. Perspectives of interregional correlation of cross-sections and stratiform deposits of native copper related to specific lava flows are being considered.
