Inversions of magnetic field of the Earth and global catastrophes

The paleomagnetic data give us evidences, that geomagnetic field inversions are accompanied by decreasing intensity of the magnetic field. It practically switches on for a long time the magnetosphere of the Earth, which controlled the ionosphere and defends the surface of our Planet against influence of the sun wind and hard radiation. It is possible to suppose, that the significant violations in life evolution on the surface of the Earth be caused by geomagnetic field inversions. <<back |
