Geomagnetic criteria and numerical mathematic modeling of structures promising for the presence of diamonds

Theoretical prerequisites for prediction of the areas of kimberlite and lamproyite magmatic activity and occurrences of their diamond- bearing varieties have been considered. Taking into account genesis of diamonds and special features of their transportation to the Earths surface the regional geotectonic, magmatic, geophysical and geomagnetic criteria of diamonds presence in the Earth's crust of the Ukrainian shield are analysed. The results of numerical 3D magnetic modeling of the structures of the Ingulsk geoblock of the Ukrainian shield, which are perspective for diamond presence are also given.
