Mechanism of forming a large scale "spot-like" structure of polluted area by powerful gas-aerosol outburst within marginal layer of atmosphere

Based on analytical and numerical solutions of diffusion problems we show the consistency of the hypothesis that one of possible forming mechanisms of large scale spot-like pollution structure of the underlying surface by intense aerosol injections into the lower part of atmosphere is diurnal (or synoptic) variation of intensity of the turbulent mixing. <<back |
