Reflection of a roof of a layer of partial melting in the mantle of the Earth, which varies during active processes has been considered in petrologic and seismic data. It has been found that the depths of a roof adequate to the ideas of an advection-polymorphous hypothesis and determined by composition of magmatic and exhalation rocks, correspond to the depths from which xenoliths have been transported and to velocity borders in the mantle.
