Density model of the earth crust along DOBRE profile

Two-dimensional density modeling has been fulfilled and detailed density distribution in cross-section of DOBRE profile has been obtained. Sedimentary layer and crystalline part of the Donbass crust are characterized by asymmetry conserning the Main Anticline. Consolidation has been revealed in the upper part of the earth crust in Periazovian crystalline massif of the Ukrainian Shield, and deconsolidation in the south-western slope of the Voronezh crystalline massif. All matter layers are found in the section with thinned (up to 1 km) "granite" layer under the sedimentary basin of the Donbass. The earh crust of the south-western slope of the Voronezh crystalline massif is formed by the rocks of more acid composition than the crust of Periazovian crystalline massif and the Donbass. The obtained data on distribution of density with depth have been compared with results of two-dimensional seismic-gravity models [Yegorova, Starostenko, 2006; Lyngsie et al., 2007].
