The system of local vector identities of impedance type for harmonic electromagnetic field on closed regular interface and the problems of geo-electrics

A brief analysis of the problem of impedance measurements in classical electrodynamics and methods of geo-electrics with natural excitation of the field has been given. The main attention is focused on the problem of local description of magneto-telluric and magneto-variational responces, in particular on revealing the local connection between tangential components of complex amplitudes of electric and magnetic fields of closed regular interface as well as between some field square-law values - imaginary surface vector and tangential component of complex Pointing vector on this interface. A system of scalar equations of the considered dispersive surface (interface) is being introduced. Taking into account interaction of physical and mathematical aspects of the problem under examination some considerations are given on producing electromagnetic responce on the earth's surface, improvement of the theory and practice of geo-electromagnetic soundings with natural excitation of the field.
