According to three-dimensional gravity modeling of the earth crust and upper mantle of the district to a scale 1:1000000 the data of the deep-seated structure of the shelf of Guinea have been obtained. The depth of occurrence of the top and bottom of the crystalline basement, the thickness and density of both sedimentary strata and consolidated crust have been determined. Using a set of seismic and gravity information the areas have been determined, which are promising from the point of view of hydrocarbon exploration. A band has been found within the coastal zone which can be a source of aluminum raw material.
