Disturbance of geoisostasy and the stress state of tectonosphere

The technique and results of the stress state fields estimation of the tectosphere produced by the disturbances of geoisostasy has been considered in this paper. An analysis of the stress fields, which were calculated according to the digital model of the geoid anomalies, obtained by satellite observations (project GRACE) has been done. Comparison of calculations results and seismic events has been executed. The possibility of using stress fields of geoisostatic nature as an additional characteristics during tectonic and geodynamic researches is discussed. <<back |
