three-dimensional P-velocity model of the mantle under the Phennoscandia-I

Three-dimensional P-velocity model of the mantle under the Phennoscandia is considered in the context of three-dimensional P-velocity model of the mantle under the Eurasia. The model has been obtained by the method of Tailor approximation worked out by V.S. Geiko. The method has a set of advantages, one of which is independence on the initial approximation (one-dimensional referent model).
The border in the mantle under the Phennoscandia and the rest of velocity mantle structures of the EEP is the band of EEP division allocated at the depths 50-125 km.
Horizontal sections of the obtained three-velocity model allow to subdivide four principal mantle velocity parts according to velocity characteristics of the mantle velocity area under the Phennoscandia within the depth interval 50-325 km.
