The main landmarks of the Ukrainian Geological Survey activity have been considered in relation with the 90th anniversary of its creation with its center in Kyiv as well as its progress in discovering deposits of many varieties of mineral wealth achieved by regional organizations of the Ukrainian Geological Survey, especially by the production association "Pivnichgeologiya" and scientific institutions of the Earth Sciences Department of the National Academy of Sciences.
