Application of Foka-Shtefanesku solution in logging of resistances

The authors proposed to apply Foka-Shtefanesku's problem solution and factorization method to obtain full-rated accuracy and convergence in calculations in case of the least loss of time. The field is subdivided in the problem into two components: the main field of the electrode and an additional one. For the main field Laplace equation is solved in quadratures and for the additional one or the induced field, - by the method of finite differences.
