Transitional electromagnetic processes during early periods in geological medium with magneto-active plasmic component

© Shuman V.N.

On the basis of electrodynamic model of geological medium with presence of magneto-active plasmic component special features of non-stationary electromagnetic processes during early times are considered. In this case the phenomenon of skin-effect which is the physical basis of electromagnetic sounding systems is interpreted as a response of electronic-ionic "gas" in the background medium to the external displaced electromagnetic field. Simple expressions are given which help to understand some experimental results, in particular, the velocity of propagation of the process within the medium under consideration can be determined. It is underlined that such more detailed description of microscopic properties of medium, which is not compulsory for classical theory of field formation, radiocommunication et al. becomes necessary for understanding physics of a transitional process during early times.
