Method of R-approximations in case of data interpretation of detailed gravity and magnetic survey

A method of R-approximations based on integral Radon transform has been proposed. The mentioned transformation is worth to be paid attention to, because it allows to restore functions if some of their integral characteristics are known, in particular, if integrals from any function are given on totality of lines, situated within some circle, for example, in case of profile mapping. The method can be applied both together with method of S-approximations and spectral methods as well as separately, especially if profiles of gravity and magnetic fields are given. The results of application of R-approximation method during processing the data of detailed gravity prospecting and detailed magnetic prospecting have been given as well as comparative characteristics of methods of S- and R-approximations.
