The East Mediterranean region (from 23°E) over a 10x10 km network. The study territory (sized at 1100x640 km) includes adjacent
areas of the continental crust of Europe, Asia and Africa. The density model is represented by layers of:
water (1.03g/cm-1 density);
Pliocene-Quaternary sediments (2.0 - 2.2 g/cm-1 density);
Evaporitic sediments (2.35 - 2.4 g/cm-1);
pre-Evaporitic compact sediments (2.45 - 2.65 g/cm-1 density);
crystalline crust (from 2.65 g/cm-1 density at the top to 3.1 g/cm-1
at the base).
The model was constructed with considering the a priori geologic - geophysical data.
