Makarenko Irina Borisovna

Education:

  • 1982 - Kiev Geological college (geophysicist)

  • 1989 - Kiev State University (geophysicist)

  • 1992 - 1996 — Postgraduate of the Institute of Geophysics NASU

  • 1997 - Defence of the Doctor of Geology and Mineralogy Sciences Thesis.

Employment:

  • 1982-1988 - engineer of the Institute of Geophysics

  • 1990 - till now - junior, senior scientist of the Institute of Geophysics.

Participation in International projects, International grants:

  • Participant of the International Projects EROBRIDGE and GEORIFT within the EUROPROBE Program.

Field of Competence:

  • Interpreting the gravity field in a 3-D version to study the Earth's crust and mantle structure of different regions:
    continental crust — The Western East — European Platform (including the TTZ) and similar regions of other continents;
    subcontinental and suboceanic crust — inner seas (Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea a. o.).
